The Impact of Cerebral Palsy
over 13 trillion us dollars
That’s the estimated total additional lifelong healthcare costs for the cerebral palsy population, which places a tremendous burden on families, healthcare systems, insurance and government entities. This number does not include lost wages, underemployment and other economic impacts to both the individual with cerebral palsy and other family members and care takers. Cerebral Palsy has been historically overlooked and under funded despite the millions of people it impacts.
